Biogas:
The production of Biogas out of dung has a good potential in Afghanistan. Afghani agriculture in dominated by a mixed system in which crop and live stock husbandry are combined. Almost every rural household maintains a few animals. Biogas is a high value fuel, which can be burnt with a high efficiency. With regarding to cooking the efficiency is 3.5 times higher than that firewood. The production of biogas has important agricultural advantages. So, digested dung or slurry can be used as an organic fertilizer to increase the crop yields. At present we are constructing dome type plants with eight different size (4, 8, 10, 15, 20, 35 and 50) cubic meters.
